Algorithms are up and coming, but already present in our society. Instagram uses an algorithm to limit who and what you see on your feed in an attempt to filter out what you would normally skip over.
This idea of integrating algorithms even further into life can be seen with randomist, Max Hawkins. He had this abstract idea to allow a computer to coordinate each aspect of his life. The computer even suggested where he went to eat and spend leisure time.
He created an app where the computer based algorithms predicted where he would go based on places he has visited before in his area. He expanded this idea when he decided to solely let the computer decide where he lived, what he listened to, and pick events he attended.
